Quartzite Slabs

The production of beautiful Quartzite is one that is an intricate process orchestrated by the earth itself. It originates from sandstone that is found in the mountains, which undergoes metamorphosis through heating and pressure usually related to tectonic compression within orogenic belts. This process results in interlocking quartzite crystals that creates a mosaic look and comes in a variety of colors from mainly white to grey, sometimes with pinkish and red hues, as well as yellow and orange (when impurities in the minerals are involved in the metamorphosis). Quartzite’s glossy surface and unique patterns make it an ideal wall, floor, and stair installation.
